You may not even recognize him from this photo, but he’s slimmed down a lot lately! We were surprised too! Is it because of our healthy and filling gyros or salads? We’re not saying. However if Subway can have Jared, maybe we can have Forest?

All of these celebrities love our pitas and you’re just as much a celebrity when you come in and sample one of our famous Greek treats.

Olives and health benefits

olives Olives and health benefits

Olives are one of the oldest foods known to man, dating back some 8,000 years in the Mediterranean region. The olive tree was valued as a symbol of peace and happiness and for good reason.  Cured olives offer a host of health benefits.

Rich in iron, vitamin E and copper, and are an excellent source of fiber.

They have monounsaturated fat that has been found to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis and increase HDL (good) cholesterol.

Olives contain a triple whammy for your health that works in synergy to provide extreme benefits. Along with monounsaturated fats, olives are rich in vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant that neutralizes damaging free radicals, along with polyphenols and flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory properties.
